Then don't. But it's still very clearly a Cap story, just everything is grey in this movie rather than black or white, even Cap.

I was hoping for some reassurance that the people saying those things are wrong, but I guess that flew over your head. Or they're right.

It sounds like you're looking for a movie where everyone else gets nothing more than a brief cameo, and the people who are on the opposite side of the issue from Cap are treated like straw villains, so in that case, yes, the people you've talked to are right, and it's not a good movie for you.

What? You can't stand the thought of Cap being an actual human being who sometimes does things he (and others) believes are right even though they go against things that others believe are right?

Cap isn't portrayed as a bully. He's the hero of the movie.

But Iron Man is still in it, playing the deuteragonist to Cap's protagonist, so if the reassurance you wanted is that Iron Man is hardly in the movie, sorry, I can't lie to you.

But if you dislike Iron Man as much as you seem to do, you most likely won't think his opinions are the right ones and you'll go through the movie seing him as a full on antagonist.
