(Anonymous) 2016-05-04 06:09 am (UTC)(link)Trump appeals to people who apparently think the US functions like a business with its President as a CEO who is able to do whatever he wants, without checks and balances. you'd think they'd have learned from 8 years of Obama where Republican-led Congress regularly blocked anything meaningful he wanted to do, especially actual health care reform, but they continue to believe that being President is akin to being a dictator. Trump is going to roll into the oval office, 'fiyah everyone he doesn't like, boss around other countries, and somehow defeat "PC culture." or something.
he has no actual policies, cites himself as reference for how these policies will work, and is living in a fantasy land. the only people who believe his baseless rhetoric are ignorant. I find the other Republican candidates and their positions deplorable, but at the very least they have actual plans and strategies, and some understanding of how government works. Trump supporters do not.
