I love to speculate on what my kids and their kids etc will be "nostalgic" for--the golden age of superhero movies, probably? golden age of television, of "narrowcasting"? the days of Beyoncé's creative output? of Hamilton? of a bunch of shit i don't even know about cuz i'm not zeitgeisty enough?

I wonder about this too because it's not like you can predict it with 100% certainty.

It's funny cause you never now in the moment what's going to be the next big thing. I'm curious about the future (though I'll miss the superhero age when it passes).

But you'll get to be a wise old lady who remembers it so fondly ;)

Not sure about the wise (or old, with my lack of self preservation).

I keep trying to imagine the music from my generation being played on an "oldies" sort of station in the future and that weirds me out (provided, of course, we still have those kinds of genre divisions and online radio or whatever).

I think the pioneer decades of the Internet will definitely be something my (our? not sure how old you are) generation will be associated with for sure.
