More people need to remember that straight teeth doesn't necessarily mean healthy teeth. My teeth are straight and even, and everyone compliments them, but behind that is a fake tooth because one died and turned grey one day out of the blue, a couple surgeries because several were growing in sideways, thin enamel and cavities just everywhere, and seven (SEVEN!!) years of braces because my mouth and my teeth simply were not meant for each other.

If I ever had kids the poor things would probably also be bffs with their orthodontist like I was. It's not fun.

I look at other people with straight teeth and immediately wonder if their mouths are also lies.
