That seems so... broad-brushy? Like, ALL KPOP SUCKS is like saying, ALL INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC IS BORING. There's a reason why generalizations are patently false.

A lot of music from a lot of genres is not to everyone's taste. That doesn't mean that it unequivocally sucks.

Instrumental music is way more wide as a genre and doesn't hinge so much on the outward persona of the band for success tho
