Re: How to relax

Not sure how ~sporty~ you are, but are there any adult kickball leagues or similar where you are? I was in a similar place as you a few years ago and I found it really helpful - I was out doing something (that was scheduled! God, there was something comforting in that) instead of sitting at home all "Am I relaxing enough? Could I be doing something MORE relaxing?" And being on a team meant I was doing something that had a purpose, but was also really low-stakes so I didn't have to devote too much thought to it. Plus it was time outside and doing something (semi-) active, which is always helpful. And it doesn't even matter if you become best friends with our team - I joined two different teams as a "free agent" who was stuck on to fill out the numbers, and I still liked it. It was less about the socializing and more about having something to do that wasn't work.

Thanks for the thought! I should have mentioned that my mobility is somewhat limited, but it's still a cool idea for anyone else struggling to relax.
