Not as much as they shit on seme and uke. If you were around in the old days, the hate was real for a decade or more. There's more kinks to hate on now so it's dispersed some. Omegaverse is yaoi in another name anyway.

I was around in the 90s when anime was everywhere, and anti-yaoi went on for years and years. Omegaverse was a wanky blip for a while but nowhere near as long. In my experience anyway.

I'm the first to admit all kinks are dangerous if you assume that's how real life works, but I do notice some get singled out as inherently terrible more than others.
