The whole "blaming the writers" was manufactured by you, angry-but-totally-not-defensive-at-all anon. Though why, I have no idea. It's just one person's negative opinion about one scene in a huge box office hit yet you were clearly so upset by it that you needed to make out like the only reason I could possibly dislike it is because I've got a "hangup" about something or other.

So yep, I think "weirdly defensive" fits pretty well. ;)

Wow. Apparently you don't even understand the words you write. How is "blaming the writers" manufactured by *me* when you literally say "tbe writers couldn't" come up with an ending right after calling what they did write - which you erroneously saw as a resolution - a "cop out."

And since you need it spelled out for you, secondhand embarrassment, which you admit to having, IS a hangup.
