More communities are a good thing, if the content of said comm doesn't have any place to be posted at. Comms that are created then are good because it helps see there're more fans of the pairing/whatever, and it helps organize things.

Creating a community for a pairing that not only already has a community that happens to be the most active community in the entire fandom, just because they want to be able to post off-topic things that also have communities they can get posted at (in this case, tsubasarc, flouritecest, fai_fye, bigdoggielove, trc_altlove, tsubasa_yaoi, tr3some)? Is completely ridiculous.

Excellent point, actually. Especially when the same content is being x-posted over and over and over. That can get a little tedious and lame =p
