53. QQ, author. There's a lot of Japanese entertainment and shit that I love but I'd never want to live there for an extended period of time. I don't think it's a TON better than the US or whatever. I just wish it were cheaper to visit.
71. Wow, I salute you for actually liking the game without having played FFVII. No, you are not the only Vincent x Lucrecia shipper but it's a lonely world. I've always been terribly fond of their mostly-unrequited-love-but-probably-not-entirely-unrequited relationship. FFVII wasn't really clear as to whether or not they had ever had a relationship, only that she eventually went to Hojo. I was always under the impression that she left Vincent for Hojo for some reason.

Of course, I stil think people should ship whatever they like. Just pay attention to canon and take it into account when doing it. it might make certain ships more difficult, but very little is impossible!

And that's why I am not apart of a fandom where ship wars exist. CANON IS SRS BUSINESS, GUYS, ARGH.
Unless you count RPS people who HAET GACKT because he interrupted their crazy L'Arc~en~Ciel bandcest but I'm not into that.

71. There was one scene in FFVII - ugh, I wish I could remember exactly what happened, but I thought Vincent proposed to Lucrecia, she turns him down, and then runs off toward Hojo? And then there's the fact that Hojo is Sephiroth's father and Lucrecia is his, uh, not-Jenova mother, so even if they didn't do the nasty, they certainly did the test-tube nasty.
I shipped Vincent/Lucrecia 'till Dirge of Cerberus came out. The fan speculations and interpretations of Lucrecia are 100x more interesting than what DoS came up with. DoS Lucrecia = bleaaaahhh. I try to pretend that game never happened...

I hear ya. OMG VINCENT'S DAD WTF ARGH. TT____TT
But it DID contain lots of VINCENT IS MADE OF WIN AND BAD-ASS and the gameplay was fun, so a part of me still loves it. When I am playing my Japanese copy so I don't take up cutting over Steve Blum trying to make Vincent sound like Solid Snake and the massacre of Rosso.
Although Genesis is a ret con I can live with, because Crisis Core needed a bad guy/catalyst other than Sephiroth (up till Sephiroth goes crazy, anyway).

I just can't look at Genesis without going "OMG IT'S GACKT LOL" but I'll prolly end up playing Crisis Core anyway if only to stare at hot men and slash them whaaat I'm not shallow at all.

Yeah Deep Ground was bad-ass, even if their ret con was ludicrous. Japanese Rosso causes me to question my sexuality.
Vincent's badassery was the only thing kept intact for that game. :P I realy only got a couple of hours into the game before I started agreeing with the critics and going, 'yeah, this is "Devil May Cry If it Were a Shooter"'... then I watched all the rest of the videos on YouTube so I could read the fic. >_> I did kinda like Deep Ground (or whatever they were called) though. Cool outfits, fairly badass. :D

His face has been echoed in so many Square characters seriously (http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/Character_Creation/Hume_Models), not just Squall) already, I was tickled they finally just sat down and made a character out of him. He was BORN to be a Final Fantasy character.
In Crisis Core, he hardly even SOUNDS like Gackt, so it's much easier to disassociate the two and enjoy Genesis for the raging asshole bad-ass villain that he is. X3

LOL, it's like everyone comparing games to FFVII - OH WAIT - XD ...it was the double-jump, the man-hotness and the demon form that did it, really. :P In general I just like hack-n-slash better than shooters, so I tend to be a bit biased there.

There's this FF/KH/Disney RP I lurk at that does the thing where they only allow real people in icons... and Gackt as been banned because everyone's sick of seeing his face. XD
