Stupid fangirls? Ouch. Hell, most people have reasons why they like Hibari with certain people, you know (and it's Tsuna who's shipped with others the most).

You don't have to understand, but calling the fangirls stupid is uncalled for. The comm can be much, much worse.

I would also say that it's possibly to rationally agree that shipping Hibari in a realistic manner would be really hard (Hibari/Namimori, lol OTP), but still enjoy the aesthetics, and some of us fall under that category. I mean, if I RPed Hibari I'd probably never ship him, and if I ever get around to ficcing Reborn I'd probably not do it there, either, but I still right click like it's going out of fashion whenever there's a Hibari/anybody thread on 4chan, because dude, it may be unlikely but it's still nice to look at.

I've seen enough to tell that 'stupid' is the right word. Well yeah, they may be reasons but I really can't understand, since the only reason there seems to be is 'because it looks hot'.
I'm sorry if and when I sounded too angry, but Reborn! is sort of sacred to me and I don't want to see one of my favourite characters shipped because 'they look hot together'.

Well, I tend to stay out of the fandom anyway. :') Don't mind me, I'm just a little pissed off.

I still think it's unwarranted though. I admit there are few who ship a pairing solely because it's hot (I admit I shipped the Kyoko/Chrome pairing because it's cute at first [though the reasons changed now] and it was my first time doing that), but most do have reasons (other than hotness) why they like pairing XYZ even if you don't agree with them. And not all the time they will write why they like XYZ because their can be many, many reason why they do and would say it in posts that discuss pairings.

I'm not going to rip my hair trying to convince you but I just want to clear up a misunderstanding you seem to have about the fangirls there. Even I get annoyed with some pairings' popularity but I never think it's only because the two characters are hot.

Besides, I think the comm did a good job for the most part with fanfiction concerning Hibari, who is truthfully still a mysterious character even now and that TYL he did mellow out some meaning he's not always be a ruthless person.

I wouldn't call it a misunderstanding, it's just that the fangirls tend to be like that. I'm not saying you are, but most of them, that I've seen are quite scary like that.

Yeah, yeah. This is just one of the things that make me furious, especially when it comes to my favourite series. :/
