I don't watch it regularly, but sometimes I catch it at my brother's house and enjoy it. Best line now and forever though will got to Scott Bakula's reading "That'd be dope."

Hmm, I don't remember that, but they do have some great one-liners on the show. The dialogue can be so cheesy but I really love this show. I'm a few episodes behind, but I've just got to squee a bit about how much I love having 3 awesome female characters who get to have so much screen time together, and how the show often adds female characters (Pride's old partner, his daughter) who get to have meaty roles. I love the family-feel of the show.

His daughter was there for some reason and said something was dope, then thought she had to explain what it meant. And then Pride used it in a sentence, the context for which I've already forgotten. Something like a completely deadpanned "If you could be home for dinner, that'd be dope." IDK, it was hilarious at the time. Because Scott Bakula is a national treasure.

After this season. I wonder how long the fandom will hold out. I've got three...technically four if I pretend I'm ever going back to it...fics in the works, and this does deflate my admittedly languishing sails a bit.
