TiVo. No seriously, I thought it was something they made up.

Same with all these huge high school campuses with lunch areas, and pep rallies and things like that.

Lunch areas? Where did you have lunch at your school if not at some designated place for it? Just in classrooms?

We had a cafeteria/stage area inside, but I mean there's always these huge sprawling outdoor seated areas where everyone eats in cliques and stuff.

I think that's just how they do it in California and since that's where the tv comes from, that's how things are done on tv.

Haha, makes sense. I was like, "HOW ARE THEY EATING OUTSIDE? THE ONLY TIME IT'S WARM ENOUGH TO EAT OUTSIDE WE'RE NO LONGER IN SCHOOL!!"

My high school had pep rallies, and there was a small, enclosed area where seniors could eat outside, but it wasn't...really anything to write home about. And my senior year, I think my class did something to piss off the administration, and so partway through the year that privilege got taken away from us. It was nothing like the outdoor lunch areas you see on TV or in movies.
