I much preferred Josh as well. Jimmy Jr is pretty hot and cold with her (he's a middle schooler though, so I don't really blame him for it). Also, he brings out the creepiness in Tina more often so it doesn't seem like either of them are great for each other

I'm so glad I'm not the only one! I kind of love how he just totally takes Tina and her weirdness in stride, unlike Jimmy who seems uncomfortable with it at times.

He's kind of like Bob in that way, albeit a louder, brasher version of Bob.

Plus, I suspect that Zeke lowkey has a crush on Tina.

I don't like Jimmy Jr. at all. He's amazingly selfish, even when he's being nice he's being selfish. He never cares about Tina's feelings at all.

Like in the cheerleading episode
Tina: I don't know if you can understand me, but this is the date I wanted. We'd watch a movie probably 27 Dresses then we'd walk along the beach at low tide and find a cozy place to sit in the kelp and kiss.

JJ: I heard every word, Tina. That's the same date I wanted, too.Except that movie I've seen it three times. So, that's 81 dresses total.

I heard, I wanted, I've seen. vs. Tina's we, we'd watch, we'd walk. No attempt to suggest another movie (that's emotional work) no going "but if you really want to watch it..."

If you listen to him talk, he never acknowledges how Tina feels about anything, or seems to care. It's always on what he wants. He doesn't care Tina wants to go to the dance with him or that she's upset about the maybe, but he cares about feeling jealous. "When you tell me no it makes me want you more."

Like he knows, he KNOWS, Tina likes him. There's no on again off again on her side, just his.

And yeah, he's a stupid kid, but unless I ever see him care about how Tina is feeling over anything then I just can't see him as a workable relationship for Tina. He's all take and no give. He's just a younger Logan.
