I'd agree if streaming didn't open old shows to an entirely new audience.

Libraries have been around forever, and old books don't get spoiler warnings.

Either way, Star Wars being available for streaming won't mean that your "Darth Vader is Luke's father" thread will be deleted. Exact limitations are hard to define but 15+ years is well beyond them.
