Honestly, the first Thor movie was the only one I really liked. Idk why.


Do the Spiderman movies not count as the MCU?

No, they don't because they were made by Sony, not Marvel Studios, and Sony still owns the movie rights to Spider-Man and his associated characters.

I liked Thor because it felt like a Shakespearean powerplay... maybe it's the same for you? also, I was giddy about a god living among mortals

the other movies are about punching shit and surviving explosions

I think I liked that it was a bit more laid back and a fish out of water story. It was a different change of pace for a superhero movie. Plus Thor himself was pretty likable. And I related to Jane's curiosity and general love of space.
