Ed and Al on Fullmetal Alchemist. Okay, depending on which version you're watching, they kinda do, but I prefer the Brotherhood ending where they get their happily ever after.

I've only seen the first anime/movie, but they didn't die in that, did they?

Well, they do die, but they don't stay dead. If I remember correctly, Ed does get killed by Envy, Al sacrifices himself to bring him back, and then Ed does the same for him.
