Same commenter, just can't log in here: no, if I wanted to say people would be assaulted every time they turned around, I would have said so, rather than saying it's a possibility and a relatively common one. Which I do not dwell on, because it's not possible to predict someone else's behaviour. Like most women I don't take risks, not because I don't want to be blamed, but because I don't want to be raped. But I don't live my life in fear just because I have a background knowledge that some people assault other people.

If you don't think it's possible or think that sexual assault of one degree or another isn't problem in our society (and most that I know of) then I don't know what to tell you.
