I finally got the surgery I desperately needed (turns out even more than I knew) and kept getting put off for various reasons. Of course, I'm still recovering and in a lot of pain, but once that has passed I'll be in a much better place than I was. I was pretty much not functioning for at least a week or two out of every month.

Ah!! Yes! I knew there was somebody on F!S I wanted to ask after and it was you! I'm so glad things went well. May your recovery be smooth and peaceful as possible.

Thanks. Was a bit more difficult than anticipated, but it worked out in the end. If only the pain would go away. I wish she'd given me something stronger, but oh well.

Thanks. Me too. If I could just get out of bed without stabbing pain, it would be helpful. A bit hard to function right now. But it shall pass in a few days hopefully.

Aw, I'm so glad it's over! I remember you were really worried about that. And now it's over, and you can rest, relax, and be glad it's over.

Yup. :) Now I just have to handle the post-surgery pain.
