Dude, post it! You never know how a story will strike readers - you may get a huge cult following! Sometimes just the bare bones of what made a canon story is so cool that people will read anything with that as the framework. I say - have at it. You may be surprised.

Tabaqui is right. You could possibly get a big following.

There's a guy out there with an OC insert Super Smash Bros fic that's hundreds (or tens?) of chapters long. This guy is known for having the longest fanfic in the world. If he can get hundreds of followers for a somewhat embarrassing concept, you can too (not to say your idea is bad at all! It's just you never know what becomes popular).
