Because, like, modding YOUR GAME to make YOUR GAMING experience fun FOR YOU is totes hurting others. Cause, like, anyone who uses certain mods, IF they hold certain beliefs, they will most likely not change their minds and deleting or barring them from getting said mods isn't gonna magically make them forget those beliefs.
I can understand side-eyeing them or blocking them or what have you, but actively trying to bar people from enjoying the game that THEY BOUGHT A COPY OF is super shitty, no matter how much those mods may not make sense in the grand scheme of things.
If you don't like the mods/find them offensive, then don't fucking use them. But, you have NO RIGHT to dictate what a person can and can't do with the copy of the game that THEY bought with their own damn money.

If YOU want to use them? Have at.
It's YOUR COPY of the game and YOU CAN DO WHATEVER THE FUCK YOU WANT WITH IT.
So yes, I am making it exactly what it is: fandom trying to police how prople do their hobbies and freetime.
