I'm curious about the kink as well.

OP - I answered in a reply further down, but in case you didn't see - magic transformation sexchange. Poof, thanks to this Ancient Artifact/Magic Spell/Whatever you now have the opposite parts for a little while. Go have fun. And you generally get fun fumbling first-time-type sex within an established relationship and/or with otherwise experienced characters.

It's also a weird and contrived enough kink that there's no way the author could have possibly 'accidentally' have decided to play it straight and realistically. Especially not with the mid-fic 4th wall breaking lecture that no cis person could ever find anything sexy about temporarily being in the wrong body. If they wanted that they could have just not had the topic of sex ever come up and just focused on the character finding the transformation weird.

Oops, didn't see, thanks for posting up here so I can know. I appreciate it!

And, wow. Actually, ... no wait, I can't be surprised anymore that the latest Kink Shaming cloud that now authors would slip that into their stories...

Yeah. I completely understand, and I find that completely unfair for the author to do that. If they wanted to say something, maybe add a disclaimer in the beginning that it's not actually for... fans of that kink, or something. =\ And without the whole "lecture" bit, too =\

Or, like you said, they could've just gone that route.

Sorry, OP.

That isn't a bad kink at all, anon! Why don't you look into doujinshi for this one? I've seen a couple of doujinshi dealing with sudden sex change. Sometimes they overlap with uncomfortable stuff or other kinks, so it might not be easy to find the thing that's just right for you, but it exists.

Would you mind telling me the fandom? If it's one I like and know something about, I could write a little thing for you :) You can send me a message if you like (or on my tumblr, has the same user name, but without the "-").

They're in the right in terms of their opinion, OP, but their bait and switch crap was just rude. What if you were a trans person who was looking at (your kink) in a more positive and coping light? The problem is when authors are presumptuous then it just ends up making them look like jerks. They should have just made a disclaimer or a rant on some blog :/
