our two are nothing like traditional cat stereotypes but I find them more and more conforming to internet cat picture stereotypes. one is friendly as fuck with the exception that nobody is allowed to pick her up/carry her/hold her, the other is a happy friendly boy who likes being picked up but he's very skittish with strangers. neither sit on laptops or other warms, but both do have the uncanny ability to find the exact spot on my fabric I was just about to pin, mark, or cut and lay right there, giving no fucks as to what I need to do.

somebody was trying to be helpful and suggested putting out boxes for them to climb in instead of on my projects but they are not box cats. they are entirely indifferent to boxes, bags, and so on.

Wow. Cats who are not box cats?! That's mystifying. Every cat I've ever had has been a box cat.
