There's a book series, that I think is just called "Tomorrow," about a group of kids in Australia who escape capture and go into hiding when the whole country is invaded by some other unknown country's military. In the editions I got for Christmas, the summary of the first one correctly identifies the main character as a girl in the group who's chronicling their story in a notebook.

The second book's summary made me think the series would be cycling through character POVs with each book (think Animorphs, Babysitters Club, the chapters in Game of Thrones books, etc.) because it was all about the group's designated leader boy. But when I read the book... the narrator and MC was the same girl as the first book. The whole series is her POV. The second book had something of a focus on her relationship with leader boy, but he wasn't the main character. I was kind of disappointed because I like reading different character perspectives, but the story was still good. And I was annoyed because it was so obvious that the publisher wrote the misleading summary because they thought more kids would read it if they thought the main character was a boy.
