Tra-la-la-lally/Down in the Valley from the Hobbit book was my introduction to Tolkien elves.

You can imagine how much the stereotypical and/or movie portrayals of Tolkien elves bug me. I just cannot keep a straight face when people start stating those bizarre assumptions of elves as serious humorless dignified perfect lordly beings because every time it happens Tra-la-la-lally pops into my head.
