Fusions

These are my favorite form of crossover. After a dozen stupid WD/BS crossovers I was relieved to find a little fusion instead ( https://www.fanfiction.net/s/10368012/1/That-Kind-of-Family) and recently I read a really cool star wars /Stargate fusion ( http://archiveofourown.org/works/3514793/chapters/7728092)

What is a fusion crossover you recommend?

My favorite ever fusion is The Snow Queen, a fusion between comicsverse (VERY comicsverse, nothing MCU-y at all about it) Avengers and general Marvel universe, and The Snow Queen by Hans Christian Andersen. It's Steve/Tony but really focuses on Steve and his supporting cast. It may not be very enjoyable or intelligible to anyone who is unfamiliar with the Avengers comics though.

(for some reason, the author never made a masterpost of the story, so the link below goes to part 7, which has links to all the previous chapters)

Not sure if this qualifies as fusion.

Perdition's Flames (sherlock/star trek AOS fusion, Sherlock/John pairing) http://archiveofourown.org/works/891901/chapters/1721038

Sherlock would do anything to save him.
Risk anything. Give anything.
His money, his life. His soul.
What he does, though, is change both of their destinies forever.
Genetic re-engineering is the only option left.
It turns out researchers underestimated the life expectancy and potential abilities of genetically re-engineered subjects.

The British government and what would eventually become the United Federation of Planets, however, had not.
