I will be very, very surprised if those designs are canon. They don't feel Pokémon-like at all.

That's what people said of the Gen Five starter finals. And the Gen Six ones, as well.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if that is real.

About the officially revealed ones? Were they leaked beforehand? (I don't remember them being leaked but I'm not sure)

Well, when I was religiously following the Gen 5 stuff back when it was coming out, I remember people going apeshit and calling the final evos for the starters fake, especially Oshawott's evolution. Because they did get leaked a few months before the games finally came out.

And with X/Y and how people were raging, again, over Delphox and Chestnaught...it's not the first time the fandom has called starter final evos fake because they don't like them.

Now, because the new games aren't coming out until late this fall, I can agree that that link above is probably a fake, but, like I said, I wouldn't be surprised if it's real. And tbh...I don't really hate that design? It's a bit weird, yeah, but I don't have a complete "NO" reaction to it, so.

Did those final evos get leaked the same way as this? I honestly don't remember them leaking (which is weird since I was paying attention before both of them especially XY, though maybe I got to the point a few months before the games where I was avoiding spoilers? idk)

Are you talking about the revealed starters or just the Popplio-evolution design? Or were there more than one final design?

Pokemon is pretty good about containing leaks so I don't think they will be the final thing.

Ooooh, I actually really like those.

They probably are fake, but OOOOOH I LOVE that hooded owl and the freakin' panther!! The fire evo kind of hark's back to Persian's design, just a little more lithe.
