Not sure if you haven't noticed, OP, but Zack is not Cloud and vice versa. Why would there be an alt skin of someone he is not? He pretended he was Zack to because of his trauma of losing him but that's not the same thing. Cloud is also more recognisable than Zack to those who haven't played the FF7/KH franchise. Having an alt skin like that makes no sense.

I agree on the dress though.

I assumed OP meant a Zack-based color scheme. It's not uncommon for SSB characters' alternate colors to be based on other characters from their canon.

Lol not OP but I am fairly certain OP is just talking about a skin, or clone. You could basically recolor Cloud and get Zack. Super Smash Bros has done it before.

But I'm against it because fuck Zack, I hated Crisis Core and his character in it, and his stupid added scenes in Advent Children Complete, Zack is forever ruined for me and I want him in nothing ever again /rant

Yeah, wondering the same thing. The point was putting Cloud in the game, not Zack, and Cloud isn't actually Zack (Cloud recovering himself and his memories was kind of a huge deal), so...?

I mean they have a daisy color scheme for peach, a jeanne for bayonetta, and straight up some other weird pikmin guy as another character for olimar. I don't see how this would be any different?

I would kill for a purple dress alt. and I somehow hadn't thought of zack but that makes a lot of sense, I'm surprised they didn't!
