I have the perfect plan for this. I just need to find a way to suggest cats cause autism. Can you imagine flamewars that would erupt from that.

So I heard about this study last week that said if you had a cat or spent even any short time with one you have a 47.4% increased chance of having a child with autism. And that is for men, the cat's immune system antigens compromises your lungs and then your lymph nodes which leads to seminal mutations. For a woman, inhaling cat skin flakes or coming into skin to skin contact with a cat cheek-scent marking her the risk rises to 76.2% and that risk persists throughout the first two years of your baby's life. Autism could be decreased by two thirds by ensuring that cats were excluded from men and women of procreational age's lives. Even third party contact via a co-worker who has a cat could give your baby autism.

Please, post this widely, we must tackle the menace of aspergers and autism to our society. Simply getting rid of cats is a small price to pay for tackling such a huge health crisis!

Speaking as an Aspie with a cat, I am horrified, but don't actually understand how you can justify a putative causal line from lymph node infection to sperm mutation.
