Ah, enjoy NYC! I spent too short a time there. Are there some particularly amazing chocolate shops there? I'd assume so.

A few years ago, my mom and I did a chocolate walking tour and every so often I go back to some of them. Four of them are REALLY close together, so I try to do them all at the same time. I also have then gone back with a friend, my cousin, and my brother's girlfriend at separate times.

Mariebelle is the only place I've found that does dark chocolate pistachio bars and they're my mom's favorite. Jacques Torres has this amazing frozen hot chocolate drink. Vosges has this really great blood orange caramel bar. And Kee's Chocolates have this yummy creme brulee bon bon.

COME BACK TO NYC! So much to do! I'm going this weekend and probably next weekend too.

We will definitely go back. Though, we will be going during a warmer time of the year. We were miserable because of how cold it was.

Honestly it's so hit or miss weather wise. It's 78 today, but it was 30 on Sunday.

late May/early June or September is probably your best bet. If you come and are interested in chocolates, I'll meet you in the city for that. Again, it's slightly pricey chocolate ($3/piece or $7/bar, roughly) but you can't find these flavors all the time.
