Well the ghosts still look like they were taken from the Haunted Manson and Chris Hemsworth seems to be the only funny one in the movie (I didn't read ditz from him though, I got Andy from Parks and Rec with a brain).

Also was that the Stay Puft marshmallow man? Because he isn't supposed to look spoopy.

what's wrong with the ghosts looking as if they're from the Haunted Mansion? they were always cartoony in the movies

There's cartoony, which I don't mind, then there's looking uninspired or looking like rip offs, which they look like to me because they couldn't be assed to think of something new. Plus it's not even a Disney movie.
