This. In every MMO I play, I let people assume I'm male. I don't lie directly, but I play a male character, so they just assume and I don't correct them. I don't want the attention that female gamers often yet. And if someone does ask directly, I just tell them I don't talk about my RL details (which is true).

Do whatever you have to to feel comfortable, OP.
