Jazz

That one secret reminded me that I should look into more jazz music.

I'm in the mood for something upbeat and fast-paced. I'm not big on piano and I prefer emphasis on brass instruments in my jazz. Any recs?

I enjoy Dave Brubeck's music, not sure if it's enough brass for you, but I love how he plays with time signatures. Take Five or Blue Rondo a la Turk are his biggest pieces, but I really love his "Jazz Impressions of Japan" album.

I love Dave Brubeck! In addition to the albums you named Jazz Impressions of New York is great.

The Saboteur soundtrack is a good place to start. It mixes Ella Fitzgerald and Nina Simone with contemporaries like Koop and Kacee Clanton.

Kinda a weird one, but Back to the Garden by Jason Webley fits the bill for me. Just imagine a demented piratical soapbox doomsday preacher singing about vegetables taking over the world.

It's accordion, not brass though.
