What's worse is that this last round someone else basically DID run it. They let them do all the posting and getting artists and all the hard work. Why not give it to that person? It's so fucking stupid.

I don't think so. The mod has been salting and burning all her fests, not just this one, and they've been nothing but complimentary to each other in all their posts. The mod just doesn't want the fests around anymore if she's not doing anything with them.
