Yeah, I know a lot of rock artists in particular have claimed classical music as a big influence on their work. That's one of the things I love most about music and its history, seeing the way various genres influence each other and blend together to create something new, and put an inventive spin on what's come before. It's so fascinating :D. I honestly can't understand how anyone could have a problem with that.
