Just got my schedule for the larger of my two schools for next year (I work in the library, actually I RUN the library). Last couple years, admin let me do it, so it was reasonable, balanced over my three days there. She did it this year.

tl;dr: it sucks donkey balls. It's very unbalanced and she fucked up one of my breaks (when I asked to change that class her response was: get used to it.). Now, I did do up my own version, which would work better for me, but won't show her, cus she won't fucking change it.

And no, I have little to no recourse since she's the admin and they pretty much have carte blanche with scheduling as long as I get my breaks. Besides, our (support staff) HR person at head office is my admin's SISTER, so we don't get fair treatment if we complain.

Hmm, I may have to *cough cough* take more sick days next year and when I end up on their little program for having taken too many days (though given I'm at the max of 195 days and am losing two days/month at this point....), I can tell them it's cus of my shitty schedule.

I'm loathe to think what this woman would do if she actually hated me.
