This is why I don't like to cook if the people I live with aren't home, and I end up eating ramen most of the time. Cooking for one feels exhausting and excessive. Maybe you can seduce a partner with food? People like to be fed.

and if its the former, cooking for one can be super weird, I agree. Amounts are so hard to get right (but at least I have leftovers)
