What I wonder in these circumstances is how people people think they can get away with it. Is it a real inability to think of the long-term, or is it just a matter of being stupid enough to think you can fool doctors like that and you don't even need to try hard to hide the dog's corpse? (Also, why not kill a wild animal or find a place to buy pig's blood or something?)
