Haven't you noticed that a large portion of the Sherlock fandom is rude and creepy? Which means it's par for the course. She should know that you're not supposed to tease the zoo animals.

I can never tell if the majority of the fandom has these issues or if the part that does is just more vocal. There's certainly a fair share of fans who can't stand the creepy section of the fanbase, but I've noticed that calmer fans in any fandom tend to keep out of the drama.

For sure it's just a vocal minority. I'm in a fandom where I get the impression that at least half the drama is started by literally one person.

Yeah, there's always the Big One in any given fandom, or at least a handful of people who's names constantly pop up.
