No way, no way. Take it all the way to season 7, but skip the White House half of the season. The campaign trail episodes are great!

True! I'm pretty sure the White House half was just......literally devoid of plot? *Something* happened, I'm sure, but I can't for the life of me remember a single detail. My entire memory of that whole half of the season is just a blurry close-up of CJ and Bartlet with "why" written in their eyes
