Internet wasn't a household thing when I was a kid (late 80s to early 90s).

TEEN
I spent a lot of time in Yahoo chat and game rooms (I played a LOT of Canasta) before I discovered Mighty Big TV, which became Television Without Pity. I found fanfiction.net and fictionalley shortly thereafter.

NOW
FandomSecrets, Youtube, Hulu, Netflix, PreviouslyTV (nee TWoP), Facebook, Archive of Our Own and a private message board. I also read the buzzfeed app a lot, and a little bit of Nerdist. Oh, and woot. But my average time online has dropped significantly.

SA: LJ...not so much as a teen, but in my 20s, I was there quite a lot.

Previously TV isn't the same thing as TWOP. A lot of TWOP's users started going there when TWOP shut down, but it's a totally different, unrelated site.

Huh. Alrighty then. I could've sworn someone told me at some point that it had nothing at all to do with it and was run by completely different people, but I guess they were misinformed. Interesting.
