Kid: Our family didn't own a computer when I was a kid, so the few random instances I was able to get on the internet at whatever public place I went to, I think I mainly just dinked around looking up stuff on the "Baby-Sitters Club" series or my favorite cartoons.

Teen: Quite a few teen-oriented message boards. Teenspot, Teen.com, TeenInk, a Chicken Soup teen-related message board (and many of the people who went there hadn't even read the books, I don't think, which was kinda funny).

Otherwise, I started poking around on Fanfiction.net for the first time (this was back in the days when they allowed NC-17 stuff and band fics on there), and also frequented fan sites for Tom Petty and U2.

Now: FandomSecrets, obviously, though for the most part I'm generally a lurker here, TVLine, SpoilerTV, Fanfiction.net/AO3. I still occasionally pop in at the U2 message board I frequented, too, just to see what's up.
