Gilmore Girls. I would recommend stopping after season 4. However, season 5 isn't too bad. Do not under any circumstances watch season 6. TPTB completely ruined the characterization of the main characters. If you do find yourself watching season 6 (dear God, why?), then you might as well watch season 7. The new show runners finally fixed the mess by the end of that season. I was sad they didn't get an 8th season, as I was looking forward to see what they could do after digging themselves out of that hole. Season 6 of Gilmore Girls is why I will never watch anything by Amy Sherman-Palladino ever again. Even the continuation of GG coming up on Netflix.

I didn't watch the show, but think it sucks that she screwed with the characters. She's the one doing the continuation? I thought she quit/was fired...

She did quit. Apparently this continuation is because she had a "vision" and had wanted the show to end with a certain line, so Netflix is letting her do so. I'm still pissed at her for sticking in the secret child and butchering Luke's and Lorelai's characters. I don't know why so many others are so happy with the news of her coming back to do more.
