I think I stopped with the season 4 finale, mayyybe a couple eps of s5, and I agree with this from everything I've seen.

Honestly, pretty much the only reason I came back for season 5 was to see what sort of fallout there'd be from Ryan's "betrayal." And it all basically amounted to Esposito being a big baby for a few episodes until everything was fine after Ryan didn't let him get beat up by a bouncer.

But Castle has this way of being kind of bad but sucking you into it with the occassional bit of greatness that you fool yourself into thinking it'll be better. But it never is for long.
