Oh, sure, they seem like a good idea, but they never actually are.

I think "Oh, I'll take a quick nap and finish this when I wake up." The next thing I know, three hours have passed, I slept right through my phone alarm, my work is way behind, and I'm more tired than I was when I first laid down for the nap.

Naps are lies. Do not be taken in!

I took a nap on a parking lot in my car once.

Woke up next morning.

My sleep is fucked, though. And I'd rather have this scenario that crash my car into a tree.

I'm a horrible napper. If I do lay down for one I have to have an alarm on every five minutes, so I don't really fall asleep and basically just rest for 20-30 minutes instead. If I don't, I'll be fast asleep for hours and wake up in the middle of the night.

This happened to me today, ughhh. I had a long day at work and my brain was in a total fogbank. After running an errand, I decided to lie down for a few minutes, and next thing I knew it was 5pm. D;

Naps are always a good idea. I have insomnia, so I love naps. Naps keep me sane.

Naps aren't good for everyone.

Some people do benefit from a 30 minutes naps and don't even need an alarm to wake up, others (like me) feel sick after a nap no matter how short or long it is.

I hate naps. I wake up feeling groggy, bloated, cross, and out of it.

Fortunately I usually don't take them. I'm much less likely to fall asleep in the middle of the day now that I'm not in school and I get 7-8 hours of sleep most nights

Enh, my naps are always like two hours, and generally, if I need one, they feel pretty good. But unless I'm sick or sleep-deprived, I usually don't.

Naps are good, as long as you do a "power nap" or make SURE you get up in a couple hours.

The only time they suck is when you lay down at like 5 in the evening, and end up waking up at midnight.
