I have a horrible feeling this won't work out well.

Worst case scenaro: rape. I am not too bothered by seeing rape on TV, though I agree that GoT uses it too much and too easily, but I don't want Tormund to be spoiled the way the show spoiled Jamie. And I don't want that to happen to Brienne.

Best case, aside from the sweet romance we want to see: Tormund dies in battle and only then does Brienne see what she could have had. Even worse if they do start a romance, get one night of true passion (you know Tormund fucks like a champion) and then Tormund dies.

But here's hoping HBO gives us this. Brienne deserves love and Tormund is a good man. I think they can be happy together.
