(Anonymous) 2016-05-27 11:26 pm (UTC)(link)This. It's pretty damn clear these three are the main characters. Everyone else is expendable and it's not at all surprising when they die. Ned Stark was KIND OF a twist, being the protagonist for the first book/season, but it's pretty clear who the real main characters are and I have no idea why anyone is actually debating where the endgame is going. It's not rocket science and the books aren't as unpredictable as people claim.
I think Tyrion could die, but it'd be at the very end.

The author's self-insert makes a heroic self-sacrifice? No. No!
(I honestly prefer show!Tyrion to book!Tyrion in no small part because his actor has made him into his own character, and not GRRM's self-indulgent mouthpiece.)
