I get vaguely skeeved by men with long fingernails. (Specifically, fingernails that have just been left to grow long, not manicured and cultivated nails.)

Booksnob parents who try to curate their children's taste in books. Parents who are shitty storytellers and make what could be a cute story about their kid into a tedious, droning snorefest.

People who have a habit of trying to say the words you are speaking while you are speaking. Hard to explain, but it goes something like this:

Me: Hi Kelly, how are you?
Kelly: [simultaneously]...you? I'm fine, thanks. Do you have any plans for tonight?
Me: Yeah, I'm going to see a movie--
Kelly: [simultaneously]......movie.
Me: --at the new drive-in on High St.
Kelly: [simultaneously]...[mumbled]--ive-in on High St.

WTF. I work with FIVE people like this (and they do it to everyone, including each other, at the same time -- hilarious!).

No, they're all people with normal- or above-average IQs! And they don't just do it to me (like, in the case of me maybe speaking really slowly and not realizing it). It's really unsettling and makes me feel reluctant to talk to them about anything.
