Probably next year, that's what they said when they announced that they were getting a season 2 a few weeks back and they only just started writing for season 2 this week. So unless they can magically whiz through production it's going to be a long wait.

I've not read the books so I don't know all of the differences but I know some stuff because of fandom though and... Well I'm cool with the show as-is tbh, please keep doing your own thing.

Yeah, I've read a lot about the differences both on Wikis and fandom. And I gotta say the show characterizations are way better sounding to me.

Yup, I like all the show characters, even the ones I find a bit dull, and from what I've read I'll take them over the book characters any day.
