Maybe it's because the movies portray Steve as a perfect cinnamon roll that barely has any problems. Do I think Steve should have PTSD? Yes. Do I think MCU Steve is portrayed as having PTSD? Not really.

Maybe you should watch the first Avengers film and note the war flashbacks Steve has while battering that punching bag. Or watch the deleted scene from that movie.

Steve is not a selfish fucko who wallows in his own misery like Tony and actually tries to go on, perhaps that's why his PTSD flew over your head.

But he clearly does? I mean, I might dislike AOU but that flashback was textbook PTSD (and that is canon, like it or not). The way he acts with Peggy and Bucky, yes part of that is affection, but there is a significant chunk of survivor'"s guilt in there, too.
